The Chicago Bulls could be without Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo, and Dwyane Wade Wednesday night in Orlando.
Wade, who has missed ten games this season, is dealing with a left quadriceps strain. He will go through warm-ups and see how he feels before making a decision if he plays tonight.
“Not worried about it,” Wade said Tuesday. “Just going to listen to my body. I do a little bit more every day, and when I feel like there’s nothing there I’ll tell Coach, but if there’s still something there then just try to be smart and [not] allow something small to turn into something big.
Wade started feeling discomfort in his thigh after Saturday’s loss to the Clippers.
Rondo, who sprained his ankle Saturday vs. Clippers, also missed Monday’s loss to the Pistons. Head coach Fred Hoiberg said he will be a game-time decision. Rondo did practice Tuesday and did get more treatment after practice.
Reported Wednesday morning by Hoiberg, Jimmy Butler was not feeling well and did participate in the morning shoot-around. Butler will be a game-time decision vs. Magic.
The Bulls find themselves only 1.5 games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. With a tough stretch of games coming up(3/10 vs Rockets, 3/12 @Celtics, 3/13 @ Charlotte, 3/15 vs Grizzlies),it’s important the Bulls get a win tonight against a struggling Magic team that is 3-7 in their last 10 games.
